Sites possessing roads on allthefour sides, with the roads in eastern and northern sides, lower than the roads in south or west with the northeastern portion projected are called first grade sites .
Sites possessing roads in east ,west and northern directions are also considered as third grade sites , provided the road in the western side is more elevated than those in east and north.
Further if a spacious site protrudes into the street in northern northeast or eastern northeast such a site is also treated as third grade sites.
Sites belonging to northwestern block possessing roads in west and north projected towards northeast, street trust in western northwest are also treated as third grade sites .
Similarly sites belonging to northeastern block which possess roads in east and north, (northwest block being your own)and the road in north is less elevated (than your land), are also treated as first grade site.
The blocks with wide road on north and east and with increased northeast protruded into street , are also treated as third grade sites .
However if the street located to its east and north are more elevated than the site, such a site would not be rated asa first grade sites.
If the eastern road is more elevated than the site, the main entrance of the house may be fixed in north, provided the northern road is less elevated.
If the northern road is high, the main entrance of the house may be fixed towards east.
If the main entrance has to be fixed as per the compass, only towards the road, which is more elevated than the site itself, the only solution left out would be to elevate the entire site more than the road.
However in such case it is advisable to consult an expert on vasthu as he would be in a position to offer a better solution depending on the physical features and topography of the surroun
